Our membership

Ealing Rotary is a small, informal and friendly club. We currently have fourteen full time members and two honorary members, one of whom is the former Mayor of Ealing, Barbara Yerolemou.

We actively involve our families and friends in our fundraising and social activities and keep in touch with former Ealing Rotary and Rotaract members through our Friends network.

While we are keen to acknowledge, and do honour the more formal Rotary traditions, on a day to day basis, we very much choose to operate as a warm, informal group, united by our common interest in making a small but distinct contribution to both our local community of Ealing and the wider charitable aims of the Rotary organisation.

We are a diverse group. Our members range from a youthful twenty seven, all the way to the more long standing members who are octogenarians. Rest assured though, physical age in no way curbs either the enthusiam or mental agility of any of our group.

To help you form an impression of our personalities and backgrounds, we have put together a little summary of each of our current members below:

When she moved to London she joined Ealing Rotaract – a great way for young people to make friends and do community service.  In Sarah's words 'I'm proud to be one of 1.2 million Rotarians worldwide. It feels like being part of a family – as a Rotarian you can be a guest at any Rotary meeting anywhere in the world…so far I’ve visited meetings in Zimbabwe, USA, Canada and on the QE2!
This year I’m helping to coordinate our Club’s fundraising efforts for the End Polio Now campaign called Thanks for Life. I also keep the Club’s Flickr photoblog up-to-date'
